Whether you have a 100sqm space or a 6sqm space, standing out from the crowd can be a difficult task if you don’t know how too! Exhibition stands, especially shell scheme, run the risk of looking samey due to the nature of the structure. That doesn’t mean that you can’t stand out from the crowd though.
Here are our top tips on how to catch everyone’s eye:
1. Lots of Colour
No one likes a bland exhibition stand and you’re certainly not going to stand out if you go mono colour, unless it’s fluorescent. Why not have specific flooring added to your stand to show off your brand colours? Ranging from carpets, to vinyl’s to even textured floorings like artificial grass, this will give the stand an instant colour boost, and attract passers-by!
2. Add graphics
Whether your exhibition stand is a shell scheme or a free build, graphics are a great way to look a bit different from your next door neighbour. It gives you a chance to promote your brand and adds some life to what could be a bland surrounding. Another perk of adding graphics is you can then have stand lighting which will not only highlight your graphic content but add some light.
3. Space
Knowing how much to have on your exhibition stand is essential. Too much and the space looks cluttered, too little and it won’t look like you have much to offer. You need to have enough products on your stand so that your audience can see what you do, and enough people so they can ask questions and not feel in the way.
4. Giveaways
Who doesn’t love a freebie? Giveaways or goody bags are a great crowd pleaser. Be creative and don’t go for the typical USB stick and pen. Think outside the box but keep it relevant to your company. Brand it with your logo so every time it is used, the person is reminded that your company is out there!
5. Light
The brighter the better! If your exhibition stand doesn’t have a lot of lighting, you will have a shadow cast over you and you won’t look appealing or inviting to on lookers. Put up some strip lighting to give your stand a full wash of light or spotlights to highlight specific products. In addition to this, visual aids will add light and colour to your stand like a TV or laptop. Whilst they are minimal addition they can give the stand another dimension.
